A Joint Poem Of the WolfWhy does the wolf howl to the moon? Because the moon is his lost soul. If only all the souls of those who howl could fly free, To join their brothers in the night. The are bound and trapped as the rabbit in its hole, Bound to weep for what they cannot do. And as the wolf howls the moon is silent, For she cannot speak. She shuns the wolf for when he cries she must turn away, And the wolf mourns his loss every night.
